This summer, St Johns Centre Leeds is working with Leeds Children’s Charity to ensure that every child has the best start to the school year.
Leeds Children’s Charity provides breaks for children in Leeds facing disadvantage through residential stays, outdoor learning and trusted support at Lineham Farm. They provide a safe learning environment, filled with fun activities.
Working alongside schools and social services, Leeds Children’s Charity ensures that children:
- Learn and explore outside the classroom
- Build confidence through new experiences
- Improve wellbeing, emotional resilience and mental wellness
- Enjoy being children – safely and freely
At St Johns Centre Leeds, we are committed to ensuring that we can support children and young people in need. With this in mind, we are accepting donations of new school essentials, including stationery, water bottles, lunch boxes and more! These donations will help children in Leeds to feel confident, included and ready to learn.
1 in 4 children in Leeds are growing up in poverty and too many children are missing out on the safety, stability and experiences every child deserves. Your donations will make a huge difference to those in need.
Please drop your donations off at the Centre Management Office, located next to Potions Cauldron and support us in ensuring each and every child has access to essential school supplies.
